I’ve always had a relentless desire to understand the meaning of my life and how best to lead it. This has led me to a variety of jobs and taken me around the world many times. I was a high school teacher in the Peace Corps, managed feeding centers in South Sudan, developed educational initiatives for Sesame Street in Afghanistan, Kosovo, Bangladesh, and Indonesia, oversaw business development for an EdTech company with ARR of $60M, ran an educational institute, and even produced commercials and print campaigns for the likes of Nike and Chanel.
In my mid-thirties, I had what a therapist called an existential crisis—what’s the purpose of it all?—which led me to meditation, Zen Buddhism, and 15-years of studying the self.
I am currently driven by a desire to help bring about a more caring and compassionate world—one built on cooperation and abundance rather than domination and scarcity. I do this through coaching, teaching meditation, helping others discover their purpose, and various forms of environmental activism.
I live in Brooklyn with my wife, daughter, and cute ornery dog. Check out my LinkedIn profile to learn more.
My life and path are not yours, but I welcome the opportunity to support you as you navigate your own path.
